Cookie Policy

Last updated August 2026. We use very few cookies, and none of them track you across other websites.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are essential to make a site work — keeping you logged in, for instance. Others are used to measure or advertise.

What we use

Cookie Purpose Expires
PHPSESSID Keeps you signed in and holds your booking as you move through the steps. Strictly necessary. When you close your browser
__stripe_mid
__stripe_sid
Set by Stripe on payment pages to spot fraudulent card use. Strictly necessary for taking payment. 1 year / 30 minutes

These are all strictly necessary cookies, which is why we don't show a consent banner for them. We don't run advertising cookies, and we don't share cookie data with ad networks.

How we measure page views

We count views of stylist pages, booking steps and event pages so stylists and partners can see how their pages are doing. This doesn't use a cookie: we store a one-way hash of your IP address and browser that changes daily, which lets us count unique visits for a day without identifying you or following you afterwards.

Third parties

Some pages load resources from Stripe, Google Fonts and a CDN for styling. Those providers see your IP address as part of serving the request. They don't set advertising cookies through us.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will stop you signing in or completing a booking.
